ANALYST TASK 9

Hi everyone, I´m Nuria and this week I´m playing the role of Analyst. So, let´s carry on with the analysis of this week and task 9!

This week we have dealt with a new task that was related to teaching in the digital world and have created an infographic based on the document  “Holistic Teaching Competence for a Digital World” provided by our teacher.

With this task we have learnt the main elements that would constitute the teaching competence for a digital world, which is something that we have to keep in mind as future teachers. The digital world and technology are becoming an important part in our lives and in the educational process, so as future teachers having digital competences will be necessary if we want to success. Technology will not only help teachers to be effective, but also students to learn and discover new things, so this will make many changes in society.

Related to our work of this week, I want to underline different things. For some of us it has been the first time that we have done an infographic, so dealing with an activity that you haven’t done before can be amazing but a bit confusing at the beginning too.  We weren’t quite sure and we didn’t know how to do it, so the result wasn’t as perfect as we wanted it to be. But what I want to highlight is that we tried it really hard and we all worked as a group to get the work done. So, after the feedback that the teacher gave to us, we learnt how to do it better. From my point of view I guess that we are a group who has been improving with the pass of the days so we have to keep working and maintain the aim to achieve our goals.  In spite of that, we should keep working to improve our capability of concentration during the time that we are preparing the task.

I´m sure that we are going to continue working hard for the rest of the tasks improving the failures we have been having. This way,we will finish the course with satisfaction.
