We are María Dolores and Alberto,  this week we are the stars!⭐

This week we have to talk about task 10, the last of the subject. It has been an exhausting week and a lot of work, so we are going to tell you how has it been.🤟


As you know, we had a virtual class with Linda, our teacher in which she had explained us the task and also she had answered all our questions about this week work. We had more time than in other tasks to prepare this presentation so we though that we are going to do it really well!!
We have been in contact via online at the time of distributing and preparing the presentation, since we want it to go really well. We are very excited and nervous to present since it is the last activity and it is very important for us and we want it to go very well.

So... here you are a brief advancement of what we are going to talk about:

We have though that we could interconnect the three activities using the Solar System as the main topic. In this way, children will learn all the interesting things that Solar System has in an alternative way in contact with technologies.

JOURNALIST TASK 10


Hi everyone!!! I’m Cristina and this week I’m writing the last journalist post of this blog. I am going to tell you how we managed to develop the activity of UDCMM.

We had to create three different activities with the tools of Augmented Reality, Stop Motion and Codey Rocky programming. These had to be completely different from the ones we did previously on the UDCMM task.

First of all, in order to organize and divide the tasks we meet through a videcall of Zoom,  as usual.




We agreed that the best way to manage this task was that every three members of the group  focused on one of the activities, always keeping the rest of the group updated so that we all worked simultaneously. Alberto, Claudia and Alma were the ones in charge of the Augmented reality activity; Lola, Nuria and María dealt with the stop motion activity; and Marta, Sofía and me were in charge of the Codey Rocky programming activity.


We came out with the great idea of grouping the three activities in a larger one whose main theme was the universe. So the three activities were developed as a result of explaining different data from the solar system.


The plan was that by Monday afternoon it was everything organiced and we only had to finish the details for the rest of the week.
Fortunately everything was going more or less as planned but we had some questions that Linda could solve on Tuesday.

CURATOR TASK 10

Hi guys😜💖! I'm Claudia and this week it's my turn with the curator role. The project consisted of creating three different activities based on: augmented reality, stop motion and Codey Rocky for children of third of primary. Here are all the steps we followed and the tools that we used to came up with the final result. However, before using all of this we were designing how was going to be all, the theme, the objetives, the details to link the three activities... At the end we decided to focus them on the UNIVERSE!!

TRANSLATOR TASK 10


Hi everyone!! I´m Nuria and this week I´m playing the translator role. So, I´m in charge of defining  the most important concepts  that we have studied during the development of our Global Project in task 10, which we have called THE UNIVERSE.

SOLAR SYSTEM: The Solar System englobes the sun and the eight planets with its orbits that tour around it. But we have to include asteroids, comets, meteoroids and even also their moons that go with planets on its encirclement to the sun. So, the Solar System is the compilation of those elements.
PLANET: A planet is an astronomical object that orbits the bigger star in the Solar System; the sun. A planet must be bigger enough to have enough gravity so that it can follow the path of its elliptical orbit.
EARTH´S REVOLUTION: Is the movement that the Earth make around the sun. It takes one year in complete one revolution, exactly 365’242 days . For that reason on Earth we have a leap year every 4 years.
EARTH´S ROTATION: Is the circular movement that the Earth exercises on itself at the same time that goes around the sun. The Earth takes one day in complete one rotation. Thanks to the rotation of the Earth we can differentiate between the day and the night depending from the perceived rays by the sun.
QR CODE: It´s a tool to store information. We need an electronic device with a QR lector in order to read the information stored. The QR lector immediately opens the application, the document or whatever the QR code includes. It is a faster way to achieve and share information with others.

ANALYST TASK 10

Hi!! I'm Sofía and this week I'm the analyst of this task. This week we had more time to develope the task, what was good because it wasn't an easy work.
I was a fun task to develope, but also difficult, the ggod point is that it encouraged us a lot to be effective. But also it was a little bit confusing because we didn't know exactly what was the difference with the tasks of "Un Día en el Cole de mi maestro". The best moment of the week was when we divided in subgroups and like that we managed to work better and more specialized on each of the three parts of the task.
The worse part was for exemple having to create the cardboards for the demos because it was difficult to find some of the materials as the situation is not easy.
I think that what we need to conerve as a group is the way in which we gave the ideas and how we listened to each other, selecting the best ideas. Maybe what we could improve is work more quickly but now is a bit difficult and we are all stressed with everything that we have to do.
This content relates a lot with our degree as it is directly made for children, and our topic helps a lot as this is something that we will have to teach one day.
I hope that you liked a lot this week's task and also that you are all doing well, byee!!!

Hi everyone! I'm Alma. 
I got the worst part... the goodbye. As we said before, sadly this is our last task 😭 but let's not get sentimental. 
By developing these three activities using the tools of Augmented Reality, Robots and Stop Motion we have greatly improved our creativity and our ability to create activities using new technology tools. In general during all the activities we have developed in this subject we have evolved a lot as future teachers, as a group and also as individuals.

TASK 10: THE UNIVERSE

Hello everyone! I'm María and I'm going to write about the task 10... our LAST ACTIVITY!
After all this time, it's incredible that this has come to the end! 😢

This task consists of 3 different activities together. These activitys are:
- One day as an astronaut.
- Codey rocky on a sp(e)cial trip.
-The universe is moving.

With this activities, students will learn everything related to the universe (The planets of the solar system, the movements of them, their characteristics...) as well as how to use stop motion, augmented reality and codey rocky. If I were in primary school again, I would love these activities! 😋

TASK 9: TEACHING IN THE DIGITAL WORLD 

INTRO: 

Hi everyone, I'm Alma and I hope you're doing well. 😄😊
I'm going to give you an introduction to our latest project: the PRE-FINAL TASK! 😲
It's unbelievable, I know.
Well, let's focus on what's important. This time, our activity has been about an important topic
that is very relevant in today's teaching: Teaching Competences in the Digital World. 
Our work during this activity consisted in explaining the essential elements of Digital
Teaching Competence such as the main characteristics or the relation between that concept
and teacher's development or social environment.
In addition, we were able to link this activity to other concepts that we have studied before,
specifically PLE (Personal Learning Environment) and TPACK. 

As I was saying our work was explaining the key elements of DTC, but we had to do it in a
special way: through an INFOGRAPHIC. We didn't know what an Infographic was, so in case
you don't know either, I'm going to explain it: an infographic is a combination of explicative
images and texts, in order to communicate information. Also, we can add graphics to help the
reader understand the information. In short, to transmit information instantly and most important,
visually.


Even though we had to repeat our infographic twice because we hadn't reached the goal,
we have enjoyed learning how to do it and I'm sure it would be useful to us and we will apply it
in the future.

Teaching in a Digital World.

Hello! I'm Sofía and this week I've been charged with organizing the task 9. This one was about doing an infographic, something that we haven't done before so we needed to inform a little before starting with the work.  
First, the same day that the teacher explained the task I decided to talk with the group and start organizing. I arranged a video call  that evening through Zoom Meeting to distribute the roles and talk about the general aspects of the task.  I have to say that organising this tasks in the situation that we have is not easy as we can't meet in person and dvelope the work in a more closely way. :(

I asked my colleagues to read the document that the teacher uploaded to the Virtual class in order to meet the following day and start with a "brainstorming" and deciding . I arranged two other meetings to develope the task and finish it. 
The problem of this week has been that, unfortunately, we hadn't done it well. We didn't really understand the concept and the teacher asked us to present it again on Thrusday, that meant that we had to meet again and redoit. So we started working on that just after the class and also that evening. But again it wasn't what the teacher expected so I had to set two other meetings in order to talk all again and try to find what we weren't doing well.
So as you can see this hasn't been an easy week :/. We've seen a lot our faces and worked hard, not a fantastic week for a facilitator, and not for anyone.

STARS TASK 9

STARS- Teaching in a Digital World.


Hi, welcome back! This week, Marta and me, Claudia were the stars 🌟, the ones in charge of presenting our group activity after having hardly worked on it. We had divided the text in order to do a little summary of each part but then the two us with our partner's help, joined all together to have a completed and detailed idea. 
In addition, we divided our presentation in six parts (with the concepts that seemed more important for us) so each one could then explain three. This information was distributed in a infographic (the one that is in the Introduction) so we have like a support while we were talking. The first three partes were the Marta's ones and therefore I had to explained the number four, five and six.

1.Perspective´s importance:
Teachers take their own perspective to base any DCT with the combination of not only the processes shown in the classroom but their competence and the type of technological vision, always taking in account the social, ethical and citizen dimension.

2. Previous knowledge:
They must know how to use technologies and have previously been trained to control them so that they can get the most out of transmitting it to their students.

3. Relationships between technologies and humans:
Technology as a mediator of human action in the world and, specially, of educational action. 
Relationship between humans and technology is conceptualized in three ways: extensions of the human being, dialectical relationship between humans and technologies, and in terms of the hybridization between humans and technologies 
DCT descriptions are based on: technology as a neutral instrument and on the inevitability of a change.

4. Technology as part of teacher development: 
They can acquire new skills that could improve both their form of teaching  and their professional  growth. In addition, When it comes to conflict resolution or carrying out action research, those teachers who use technology will find it easier to investigate and find a solution.  So according to this, teachers need to keep the same pace as ICT’s.

5. Social commitment
Teachers must be aware that technology is part of their students' social environment in order to create citizens with critical and reflective capacity. Furthermore, professors act as social agents between family, school and community. This is why, in order to communicate better and reach to everyone as quickly and effectively as possible, they have included the use of technology.

6.TPACK:
Teachers, in addition to mastering their subject and pedagogical techniques when teaching the lessons, must know how to interconnect everything through technology, we can call this TPACK (technological pedagogical content knowledge).

Well, as you can see, the six parts are related with technology in Education, especially what skills teachers need to function properly in today's digital age. This points are related with the form of teaching, the social aspects, the progress, the teacher enrichment, the introduction  and the coordination between tradicional techniques and modern and new ones.
We tried to explained in the best possible way how important is for teachers to be daily aware of the evolution of technology in education💻.  However, professors should not only know them but also learn how to work with them in class, how to extract the major potencial from them and discover when is the best moment to use them.

Advice for journalists: how to explain things well - Vox
This week, as you know we are still in confinement due to the coronavirus, so today I am going to talk about how the week has gone and how we have carried out the activity of an infographic and those problems that we may have had.

This week, Linda explained us what an infographic is and what we should do, through online class. So,we have learned what an infographic is, we have met several days to share the work, share ideas on how to get to work together. To carry it out, we distributed the document that the teacher provided us and we also looked for extra information about what we found interesting.


Although we have had problems preparing an infogram, we managed to do it. These problems have
been due to the fact that we did not know exactly how to manage the information we had and how to
join it in an infographic. So after repeating it several times, we are satisfied with the results.


Despite this, individually we have worked well, having everything prepared in time for the sharing of the
main ideas. Also, when working with the group to prepare the  infogram, we have known how to do it
together. we contrasted information to know with which application and what resources we could use
and we decided that the best program for this task was Canva.We have found it a good application for
the realization of this type of infographics and we recommend it because it is simple and gives good
results.


As I have indicated above, we have been in contact by videoconference. We use the ZOOM tool for
these calls since the quality is very good and we can work in a simple way.

Finally, this week we would like to recommend the blog of our colleagues Picklerict since the way to
capture the information in their infogram has been very fun and very original, take a look at it, you will not
regret it!!




And as we have said before we also recommend the canva application, very simple and easy to use
and with many templates from which to obtain various ideas.
